Most are "no-KYC" only until you try to withdraw, at which point they demand government ID and source-of-funds documents. They are custodial - they hold your balance - so the honest question is not "do they ask for ID" but "will they let you leave with your money."
Which no-KYC casino is safest?

Do no-KYC casinos freeze withdrawals?
Frequently. This is the category with the most reported frozen and confiscated withdrawals, usually triggered at cashout by a large win, a "suspicion" flag, a VPN, or a jurisdiction check. We log confirmed freeze incidents per casino and cap the score when we find them.
Can I gamble anonymously with crypto?
Only at small stakes, and only until you win enough to trigger verification. Depositing in Monero keeps the payment trail private, but a custodial casino can still hold your balance and demand ID before releasing it. Anonymity at signup is not the same as being able to withdraw anonymously.
